The jury, chaired by Franz-Olivier GIESBERT, awarded the Nice Baie des Anges prize, in its 22nd edition, to Barbara ISRAËL for her novel Saint Salopard, published by Flammarion.
The prize will be presented to Barbara ISRAËL by Christian ESTROSI, Mayor of Nice, during the inauguration of the 22nd Nice Book Festival, which will be held from June 2nd, under the presidency of Paule CONSTANT of the Goncourt Academy.
Barbara Israël was born in Nice. She writes novels and creates films and documentaries.
