From November 5 to 28, 2026, the Jorge François Forum in Nice hosts “Première,” an exhibition bringing together around forty paintings and collages by Tyne Manassero. After 47 years devoted to teaching jazz dance and choreography, she explores a new form of expression.
From dance to visual arts, a new chapter
For 47 years, Tyne Manassero dedicated her career to jazz dance, its teaching, and choreography. As she enters retirement, she continues her artistic exploration through painting and collage.

Presented at the Jorge François Forum in Nice, the “Première” exhibition marks her first encounter with the public as a visual artist. The relationship with rhythm, space, and composition remains at the heart of this new work.
“Première,” a title inspired by dance
The title evokes both this first exhibition and the first position in dance, a symbol of beginning. Through her creations, the artist transposes her experience of movement into compositions where shapes, colors, and image fragments meet.
Her collages create a dialogue between bodies and gestures in dynamic assemblies that recall the energy of the stage.

Around forty works to discover
The presentation brings together around forty paintings and collages. It is under the patronage of Michèle Bensadoun, painter and ceramic artist, who supports Tyne Manassero in this first exhibition.
Beyond discovering a visual universe, “Première” tells the story of the possibility of reinventing oneself and pursuing a passion in another form.
