The new living space, a true green lung in the heart of downtown, will be inaugurated this Saturday during a ceremony that will last all day. It won’t be a second Central Park as Christian Estrosi once lyrically proclaimed, but the result is certainly there!
And from an electoral point of view, it’s tailor-made! After the inauguration of the Allianz Riviera, the green corridor, while awaiting the Mediathèque of the former Gare du Sud and the Sulzer parking lot, provides a rigorous schedule for the inauguration of these projects… Who could say better?
But, while awaiting the upcoming municipal battles, today is the time to enjoy this new living space in the heart of the city with the many events that will punctuate a truly festive day.
Children and adults alike will be able to wander through this park planted with more than 1,200 trees, 61,500 shrubs, and 55,000 perennials, not to mention the 3,000 m2 water mirror with its 128 water jets.
