On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the International Military Sports Council (CISM), a Peace Run-CISM Day Run for Peace is taking place this Sunday on the Promenade des Anglais starting at 4:30 PM.
This race is part of the “CISM Day Run For Peace” program and includes participation from the 5 founding nations of the CISM and 14 other present nations, military athletes from units located in the Southern Defense zone, and athletes from the Army of Champions: Elise Marc and Gwaldys Lemoussu (triathlon), contracted civilian defense agents, volunteer deputy gendarme Lรฉocadie Ollivier de Pury (skydiving), and brigadier Jean Quiquampoix (shooting).
This race is also open to clubs from the Provence-Alpes-Cรดte d’Azur region. The 6-kilometer course takes place with mixed teams of 4 runners (starting near the Centenaire Beach).
