The Piol service station at Parc Impérial temporarily closed.

Latest News

For over two weeks now, the “TotalEnergies” gas station located at Parc Impérial has been temporarily closed for renovation. The reopening is scheduled for spring 2024.

The plan for this future service station includes the renovation of the building. Active for 64 years, the station logically needed a refresh. The work will also include creating an IRVE (Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure) to promote the use of electric vehicles.

The European Union made a decision last year. Even though Germany, a leader in the automotive sector, is questioning the legislation, the law has already been voted on and approved. Starting in 2035, the sale of combustion engine vehicles will be banned in Europe. Electric vehicles are therefore positioned as the future of the automobile industry.

In the meantime, for the residents of Nice who used to refuel at Piol, they will need to head a bit further down to the BP station on Boulevard Gambetta or the Avia station on the Promenade des Anglais, between Magnan and Boulevard Gambetta.
