In the 3rd canton, only Jacques VICTOR, outgoing general councilor from the PCF, can claim support from the Socialists. This support takes place within the framework of the agreement between the PS and the PCF regarding the protection of outgoing general councilors and the socialist candidate in the 12th canton, aiming to make the outgoing elected officials champions of the broadest possible left-wing unity strategy from the first round.
Jacques VICTOR is a grassroots elected official who has the trust of his territory and with whom the socialists have always been able to work in cooperation for the general interest.
No socialist or republican vote should be dispersed considering the raised threshold of 12.5% of registered voters required to remain in the second round. No vote should be missing for Jacques Victor from the first round on March 20th. He is the only candidate capable of preventing a nightmare second round between an estro-sarkozyst and a lepenist.
