Starting March 26, the requalification works for the Nice-Nord sector will begin and are expected to conclude in December 2024.

This Friday, Christian Estrosi came to present to the locals the new requalification project for Place Goiran. The work will start on March 26 and will be fully completed by the end of 2024. The Haut Nice-Nord area will undergo a vast redevelopment project aimed at transforming this neighborhood into a truly dynamic and attractive living space.

Following the development of Tramway Line 1, Christian Estrosi aims to offer a mobility solution tailored to the needs of the residents. Thus, a new high-level bus service will be launched starting in September, offering new routes connecting Place Goiran to the Palais des Expositions. This new line will increase the transport capacity from approximately eight thousand users to over eighteen thousand users per day.

Furthermore, Christian Estrosi highlights the enduring nature of the neighborhood, where elements such as trees, the gateway, and the garden have remained unchanged for sixty years. As part of this transformation, Place Goiran will undergo a complete redevelopment. The new square will provide more space and comfort for pedestrians by widening the sidewalks, expanding the existing park, and increasing the vegetation. Residents, both young and old, will be able to fully enjoy these amenities thanks to the installation of a carousel, benches, and a large number of trees.
