After a major renovation plan launched in 2017, the Romain Gary Library reopened its doors yesterday morning.

Affectionately named “Dubouchage” by all the residents of Nice, or even “Dub” by the younger ones, this grandmother of libraries needed to be updated to meet accessibility standards, particularly for people with disabilities.

The work involved the installation of an elevator, the redesign of interior spaces, the creation of an outdoor access, and a new reception area.
