The sculpture ULYSSES by Anna Chromy has adorned the Port of Monaco since August 1st.

Latest News

Initiated by the Yacht Club of Monaco, it is located on the port breakwater, a position that allows it to be visible from a large part of the Principality.

This is the third sculpture by Anna Chromy installed in Monaco, but the first one accessible to the public (the other two are located in the private garden of the Prince’s Palace).

The sculpture reminds yachts leaving the port of Monaco for Saint-Tropez that they will find there, until October 10th, an exhibition of 14 large sculptures by Anna Chromy on the theme “Myths of the Mediterranean”.

The catalog for this exhibition is available at the Yacht Clubs of Monaco and Saint-Tropez.

Ulysses, the central hero of the most important of these myths, journeys through trials toward knowledge and returns to his homeland.

In this, he is a paradigm and a mirror of each of us.
