The Nice Artists’ Collective continues to carry out its “Coup de Can” events. Act two takes place today for International Women’s Day.

A few days ago, the Nice Artists’ Collective (CAN) launched its first “Coup de Can” in Place Masséna. The group has decided to stage a second today, in honor of International Women’s Day. To celebrate this special day, the female artists of the Nice collective have decided to organize a new “Coup de CAN” to pay tribute to women like Edith Piaf, Maria Callas, Colette, Josephine Baker, Björk, and Niki de Saint Phalle. The group will present short artistic pieces about these legendary women before concluding with a collaborative work centered around Niki de Saint Phalle.

This show will be broadcast live from 12:30 PM on the Nice Artists’ Collective Facebook page. Several elected officials from the city of Nice will be present for the occasion, including Maty Diouf, deputy for the Fight against Discrimination, Women’s Rights, Humanitarian Actions, and International Solidarity, Barbara Prot, sub-deputy for Prevention and Health Education, and Patrick Mottard, sub-deputy for Performing Arts and the Development of New Cultural Audiences. So don’t hesitate to admire the artists of Nice at 12:30 PM on the CAN Facebook page. The show will be worth watching!
