On Friday, at the Administrative Center, Charles-Ange Ginésy, President of the Alpes-Maritimes department, presented the map of Azurean gardens and parks, then also launched the landscaping competition for the 2019 Côte d’Azur Garden Festival.
A rich botanical heritage. From Cannes to Menton, including Grasse, Antibes, and Nice, 72 green spaces already welcome tourists from around the world. Following the success of last year’s first Côte d’Azur Garden Festival, the department is repeating the event in 2019.
The second edition of this event is being prepared now as participants in the landscaping competition can submit their applications starting March 30. In November, the jury, presided over by architect Jean Mus, will select 15 dossiers.
Under the theme “Mediterranean Dreams”, the second Côte d’Azur Garden Festival will take place from March 30 to April 28, 2019.
