The Swiss Society of Nice became the “Swiss Association of Nice” at the extraordinary general meeting on January 15, 2011, and wishes to recruit new members from the Swiss community in our region.
The Swiss Society of Nice became the SWISS ASSOCIATION OF NICE at the Extraordinary General Meeting on January 15, 2011. Indeed, the statutes were slightly “updated,” and during the ordinary General Meeting, a new Board of Directors was elected.
The King’s Cake and the New Year’s greetings allowed meeting new members and discussing the events of 2011.
The program includes “theater” and “music” evenings, excursions, a conference, museum visits, the traditional “raclette,” and the National Day, as well as other projects, possibly including a trip to Switzerland!
The new Board comprises: Henri Moréna, President – Marie Danielle Bahisson, Vice-President – Klaus Kirchberger, Treasurer – Francine Moréna-Aubert, General Secretary, and the Board of Directors will work to offer activities for everyone (young members have joined us!) so that this historic Swiss club, present in Nice for decades, can showcase the dynamism of Swiss expatriates on the Mediterranean shores!
