For the 11th consecutive year, the sports caravan will be traveling through the Alpes-Maritimes. The purpose of this caravan is to introduce young people to sports they are not used to playing. Eric Ciotti and Jean-Paul Serra, president of the Olympic departmental committee of the Alpes-Maritimes, were present to launch this 11th edition of the sports caravan.
From Nice to the hinterland, the sports caravan will surely pass near you. Last year, 1,700 children participated in this sports celebration. All children, aged 4 to 16, can take part in the activities offered by the caravan.
Goodbye to the most popular sports. The caravan introduces young people to sports they might not try on their own initiative. Children will thus have the opportunity to be introduced to athletics, trampolining, or even a flight simulator. Before participating in these activities, demonstrations will be carried out by seasoned athletes.
