After a successful final edition in 2015, the iconic evening of the sports movement in the French Riviera, Parfum de Victoire, made its return alongside the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Rio.
The crowd of athletes and leaders gathered in an equally iconic location, the National Museum of Sport.
This year the event was tinged with pink to showcase the feminine aspect.
Ivan Coste Maniรจre, president of the CROS Cรดte d’Azur: “This year we’re innovating! We want to build a regional dynamic around the theme “Women and Sport in PACA” and emphasize women’s sports.”
On the protocol side, the best athletes and female leaders were rewarded for their performance during the season.
Two special prizes were awarded: to Jean-Pierre Leleux, senator and former mayor of Grasse, the host city of several editions of the French Riviera sports festival, and Joel Migliore, sports advisor to Christian Estrosi in the city of Nice and the PACA Region.
