To celebrate the spring in style, the Printemps des Arts will take place from March 15 to April 6, 2010, in Monte-Carlo. It is an opportunity to attend 23 performances celebrating classical music as well as conferences. This event was initiated by Princess Grace and Antoine Battaini, who was then the director of cultural affairs in the principality. Over the years, prestigious artists have participated, such as soprano Renata Scotto, a renowned Italian artist who has performed in over 45 operas. In 1993, Luciano Pavarotti participated in the festival. This year, your ears will enjoy the music of Ravel and Brahms.
