Poetry Forum at the Louis Nucéra Library from February 14 to 27, 2011: Ready your pens!
The Spring of Poets: a national and international event “Seas and mountains, islands and shores, forests and rivers, skies, winds, suns, deserts and hills, most poems carry with them a hinterland of memories of landscapes lived and traversed”, Jean-Pierre Siméon, Artistic Director of the Spring of Poets.
To participate in this forum, all interested individuals can submit a poem of their own composition on the theme “Endless Landscapes” in a drop-off box at the Louis Nucéra Library, from February 14 to 27, or send it by email or post. Each poet must include their name, surname, address, and telephone number.
These poems will be reviewed by a jury chaired by Raoul Mille, Municipal Councillor delegated to Literature, History, and Combatting Illiteracy. This initiative aims to allow the residents of Nice, authors of poetry, to read their work publicly in the prestigious setting of the Louis Nucéra Library, a sanctuary of books and literature.
This forum will be an opportunity for all those who share a love for poetry to let the words flow…
