This Tuesday evening at 9:30 PM, the Music of the Nice Firefighters will offer an exceptional and free concert at the Théâtre de Verdure*.
The ensemble, currently led by Commander Romain Mussault, is composed of 45 musicians, most of whom are current or former students of the Nice Conservatory, and will present a repertoire of variety and jazz music.
A little bit of history… In 1860, the county of Nice was annexed to France, and a year later, the city’s fire brigade was established.
For 116 years, the ensemble has participated in various ceremonies in our city and also contributed to its influence.
In 2010, it was present during the ceremonies marking the 150th anniversary of Nice’s annexation to France. In 2014, it participated in more than 160 events.
