On Friday, January 26, 2024, the presentation of the tourism office’s action plan took place at the Gare du Sud in Nice.
Tourism remains the leading industry in the Nice area. The goal is to strengthen this pillar of Nice’s economy. This is reflected in Nice Airport, which has regained its 2019 prominence. In total, 116 destinations are served in 44 countries. A surge in American tourists to Nice is due to the five flights to New York, Atlanta, and Dallas, operated by four airlines. The metropolis is investing in its infrastructure to improve the local tourism industry.
Among the city’s commitments is to enhance international attractiveness through global events such as the Olympics, Ironman, the Tour de France, and the Rugby World Cup. The aim is to create a desire to visit and to increase the number of events. There is a focus on expanding tourism across all four seasons.
The community aims to be a lever for entrepreneurs, enabling them to leverage this support for their development.
