In Nice, it took place in the Vernier district, around the Court Circuit café, with workshops, debate sessions, screenings, and stalls on the program.
In the Alpes-Maritimes, other public events were organized in Antibes, Villars-sur-Var.
In all areas, the Citizen Transition initiates change through individual, collective, and cooperative actions, concrete in daily life, demonstrating that a sustainable alternative is possible, if not already existing.
Thousands of citizens have already chosen and work individually and collectively every day towards a profound social, ecological, and economic transition of society without waiting for a hypothetical change “from above”.
The message of the organizers could not be clearer: “Faced with the systemic crisis, which our world is facing, we need to invent a more sustainable and humane world, a society nourished by values of solidarity, cooperation, and respect for ecosystems. It is another world we need!”
