A national day to make visible and amplify this citizen movement capable of transforming our old world in crisis into another world that is supportive and sustainable.

transition_citoyenne.jpg Throughout France, initiatives were organized this Saturday to make visible and amplify this citizen movement that advocates for economic and social practices for a living and supportive world.

In Nice, it took place in the Vernier district, around the Court Circuit cafรฉ, with workshops, debate sessions, screenings, and stalls on the program.

In the Alpes-Maritimes, other public events were organized in Antibes, Villars-sur-Var.

In all areas, the Citizen Transition initiates change through individual, collective, and cooperative actions, concrete in daily life, demonstrating that a sustainable alternative is possible, if not already existing.

Thousands of citizens have already chosen and work individually and collectively every day towards a profound social, ecological, and economic transition of society without waiting for a hypothetical change “from above”.

The message of the organizers could not be clearer: โ€œFaced with the systemic crisis, which our world is facing, we need to invent a more sustainable and humane world, a society nourished by values of solidarity, cooperation, and respect for ecosystems. It is another world we need!โ€
