A definite lack of vision in municipal management?
Of course, selling communal properties is easier than maintaining them, delegating one’s municipality to the Metropolis or Sivom is easier than managing it.
The Gerles school, a communal building partially disused for “10 YEARS ALREADY”
Located in the “cour du Laghet”, next to the tent-multi-purpose room for “10 YEARS ALREADY”.
This former “PAILLERON” type school dates back to the mandates of A. SCLAVO (+ or – 30 years already). It seems that we can take pride in maintaining the only “PAILLERON” in the 06 area, which is a significant feat, something we would gladly have done without.
Today, its semi-abandoned state is worrying, it is deteriorating dangerously for the residents. This building was the first middle school in the municipality before the construction of the current one in the Bourgade.
It later housed Primary students before its closure, seemingly due to the presence of asbestos(?), in addition to maintenance, aging, supposed or real danger??? Without any expert assessments, if they exist? to prove it to us.
We request to review the expert assessments, which should be more than just the words of the “3V” of our “expert elected officials”. Concerning the “expert assessments”, we feel that the term is readily used regarding everything and nothing, without serious foundation. A bit like regarding “this” dog that became burdensome because “it had rabies”.
Recall the ex-gendarmerie building, next to the town hall, 6 official accommodations, communal property, declared dangerous and unsanitary by the same “experts”, without us seeing the assessments, became 6 private apartments, which shows how urgent it was to sell this communal asset.
Another example, the news on FR3-06 on December 8, 2011, at 7:15 p.m., “€800,000” the cost of decontamination, this restoration will be borne by the buyer, said our “expert mayor”, in one word nothing clear, why not a counter-assessment? If there is one, of course?
Just talk, nothing more, to “Impress” citizens, big numbers, complicated, and hollow words, nothing tangible, the same “10 YEARS ALREADY” song.
As it is well said: “The Trinitarians have the unpleasant impression that the mayor prioritizes the needs of the Agglomeration Community over those of the citizens”.
In short, let’s close the parenthesis, and return to the Gerles school of the “Pailleron” type: is this building used, yes or no? In any case, a status that needs clarification, with respect to regulations and sound municipal management.
Finally, the Local Urban Plan (P.L.U) grants important NEW building rights to certain plots located on impasse des Gerles, in a targeted enclave of the “Pépinétou” restaurant, but what about the rest of the sector that includes the Gerles school buildings, the music school, the Vira Souleo school???
We are not satisfied with the type of arguments that the FR3 news has shown us as mediocre; a mayor in great difficulty publicly demonstrates the correctness of our opposition approach.
What to conclude on:
- The reports on asbestos, safety, sanitation?
- The intentions of the municipality?
- The needs of the population for municipal premises in the present and future? and for the next 10 years?
