PERFORMANCE GLOBALE 06 is a large-scale project of territorial economic engagement led by UPE06* to support 40 SMEs/SMIs from the Alpes-Maritimes towards Social Responsibility and Carbon Strategy, through a collective support in 2 sessions of 20 companies. “Get involved in a process of shared wealth creation,” concludes Yvon Grosso.
UPE06 wants to create an emulation in the responsible commitment of entrepreneurs in the Côte d’Azur by example. Involving large private companies alongside SMEs is an integral part of the very concept of the project, in a kind of “Small Business Act” allowing close exchanges and reciprocal business opportunities within the same performing and forward-thinking entrepreneurial network.

This is an ambitious and highly innovative operation, which aims to adapt the managerial practices of business leaders and to provide operational economic responses to the challenges of responsible growth.
With this program, UPE 06 aims to give companies in the Alpes-Maritimes the ability to respond to the exceptional opportunities offered by the prospect of developing eco-businesses on the Côte d’Azur, especially within the framework of the OIN Eco-Vallée, the only Operation of National Interest in France dedicated to sustainable economic development.
An important public and private partnership
Many public and private stakeholders have joined forces with UPE 06 to enable small and medium-sized enterprises and industries in our region to benefit from this dual collective operation.
A first session for 20 companies in the Alpes-Maritimes
The launch of this project begins with an information campaign targeting companies in the Alpes-Maritimes, so that they can apply for this project. Five meetings are organized in economic hubs.

Thursday 10/11: in Nice from 8:30 to 10:00 at the MDE* of Nice Carabacel
Thursday 17/11: in Sophia-Antipolis from 8:30 to 10:00 at Skema Executive
Thursday 17/11: in Cannes from 18:30 to 20:00 at the Maritime Station of Cannes

Eligibility conditions for the collective operation PERFORMANCE GLOBALE 06
Be an SME/SMI according to the European definition (fewer than 250 employees, less than 50 million euros turnover);
Be located in the 06
Be already aware of the challenges of sustainable development and want to integrate them into its management
Sign the operation’s commitment and motivation charter
The number of places is limited to 20 companies from the Alpes-Maritimes per session. A technical committee will analyze and validate the registration files based on registration dates.
The company is supported for 18 months: 12 months of individual and collective work and 6 months of post-operation follow-up.
Session 1: late 2011 – mid 2013 – Session 2: late 2012 – mid 2014
-Through this exemplary operation, UPE 06 aims beyond the support of 2 x 20 companies as it also addresses all of its Members: 32 professional branch unions, associations, and direct members, approximately 10,500 companies.
The clear wish is to create a leverage effect, to engage in a territorial dynamic, and to involve as many public and private stakeholders in an operation bearing shared challenges.
