Lou Festin dou Pouort, the popular port festival of Nice, organized every year in September, returns for its 12th edition on September 5, 2015.
Starting at 7 PM, it will be a renewed opportunity to enjoy specialties, entertainment, and concerts in a cheerful atmosphere where both young and old can have fun.
The village of chefs and pastry chefs is set up under the sponsorship of the Slow Food South-East movement and the Principality of Monaco, offering the public a chance to discover French and local gastronomy.
The evening will end with a fireworks display.
Photo Contest: Use your digital camera
The photo contest will begin on Saturday, September 5, 2015, at 7 PM and end on Sunday, September 13, 2015, at 11:59 PM.
To participate in the photo contest, participants must take an original photograph on the theme “The Port is my Village” and send this photograph to the email address: contact.rivieraports@cote-azur.cci.fr; with the subject: “Photo Contest _ Festin dou Pouort 2015”.
Participants are required to include in their email: their name, first name, phone number (to be contacted in case of winning), and email address.
The prizes

The participant coming in first place will receive: a Fragonard pouch, a Corsica Ferries voucher worth €100 valid for a trip between the Port of Nice and Corsica with the issuing company of the prize, as well as goodies from the Port of Nice.

The participant coming in second place will receive: a laptop sleeve illustrated by the Nice painter Sylvie T., a postcard illustrated by the same artist, an 8GB USB card “Port de Nice,” as well as goodies from the Port of Nice.

The participant coming in third place will receive: a “Port de Nice” tote bag, a neoprene tablet pouch “Port de Nice,” a 4GB USB key, as well as goodies from the Port of Nice.
