The works of Sacha Sosno exhibited in Antibes

Latest News

Renowned artist, painter, photographer, sculptor, and theorist of his own artistic journey, Sacha SOSNO is the subject of a major exhibition organized by the City Hall of Antibes Juan-les-Pins on the occasion of the installation of the monumental work “SAXO,” acquired by the municipality and installed in the famous pine grove of Juan-les-Pins.

This exhibition is an exceptional opportunity to discover the full extent of the creative talent of the famous artist in his various forms of expression.

In total, over 40 works are displayed outdoors on the Prรฉ des Pรชcheurs, at the Port Vauban, and in the Pinรจde de Juan-les-Pins. They are also showcased on the walls of the Arcades Cultural Center (Boulevard d’Aguillon, at the entrance to Vieil-Antibes, against the ramparts), where several canvases, drawings, photographs, and lithographs by Sacha SOSNO are exhibited.

The steel sculptures of men and women converse or walk on the Prรฉ des Pรชcheurs. Venus, Poseidon, and other rectangular heads redefine perspectives, lending them their shapes and offering new views of the Port Vauban, the ramparts, the Pinรจde, the sky, and the sea.

Inside the Arcades Cultural Center, studies, acrylics on canvas, photographs, and other sculptures (including the sublime model of the ร‰lysรฉe Palace hotel faรงade in Nice) complete the unique and comprehensive panorama of SOSNO’s work.
