The actions of the Pièces Jaunes association improve the living conditions of hospitalized children and adolescents. To date, nearly 7,000 projects have been funded in hospitals.
In France, one in two children is hospitalized before the age of 15. For these families, a simple visit or stay in the hospital is often synonymous with anxiety, loneliness, and distress.
To help children and adolescents in these painful moments, the Fondation Hôpitaux de Paris-Hôpitaux de France supports hospitals by financing projects that allow young patients to live better in the hospital.
In Nice, last year, 1,450 kg of loose change was collected, 1,000 kg in 2011.
Again this year, a big solidarity celebration is organized in the heart of Nice (Place Pierre Gautier), during which Mrs. Bernadette Chirac, President of the Fondation Hôpitaux de Paris-Hôpitaux de France, will receive donations in the presence of Christian Estrosi, Deputy-Mayor of Nice, President of the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis, Maurice Alberti, Municipal Counselor delegated to charitable works, Marine Lorphelin, Miss France 2013, Lorie, Christian Karembeu and Clément Lefert.
An opportunity for everyone to bring their piggy bank (10,000 have been distributed among the municipalities of the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis) and for all to attend animations and concerts in a joyful atmosphere.

- Photo exhibition on the work carried out at the Maison du Bonheur thanks to the funds from the Pièces Jaunes operation Lou Caïreu Niçart;

Federation of Master Bakers of the Alpes Maritimes: distribution of bread, pastries, king cakes, pancakes, and regional specialties.
Social Action Center: information stand “Dynamic generations, supportive generations” with the presence of the Senior Citizenship Delegation of the City of Nice.
