The new mosaic from choreographers José Montalvo and Dominique Hervieu is exhilarating: on stage and on the big screen, the duo makes seven dancers swing in an enormous collage of genres and techniques, virtuosity, and fantasy.
The interactivity between the stage and video imagery functions with the precision of a clock, and the performance unfolds like a music hall revue from 1930s Broadway, reinvented by the duo in the purest spirit of American musicals.
