Théo Pourchaire returning to Indycar?

Latest News

Théo Pourchaire is back in Indycar this weekend. He will indeed participate in the Toronto Grand Prix with Arrow McLaren in car number 7.

The news broke this Saturday, July 20th, that Théo Pourchaire will drive at the Honda Dealers Ontario Grand Prix in Toronto this weekend. After being dropped by Arrow McLaren last month despite his multi-year contract, he is now returning to the team. He replaces car number 7’s driver, Alexander Rossi, after his thumb injury during free practice 1. The French driver had only returned to Grasse, his hometown, a few days ago. He is now heading back to Canada, where he will participate in the qualifying and the race, missing free practice 2 due to the travel.

Théo Pourchaire stated in a press release a few days ago that he remains close to Arrow McLaren. The team is even looking for a way to place him in another team. With Alexander Rossi not renewing his contract with the team at the end of the season, this could be a good opportunity for Pourchaire from Grasse.
