Things are happening at Stockfish with the programming for this second semester!

Latest News

The Stockfish is “the smallest of the large venues”. Opened in March 2022, this concert hall constantly makes headlines. And for good reason, it strives to offer the most enticing programming.

Big names have already graced the stage at Stockfish, such as Gad Elmaleh, the group Acid Arab, and ร‰tienne de Crecy. The venueโ€™s policy? “80% music and 20% humor.” And the programming for the second half of the year sticks to this rule!

“Nice, it’s bustling,” proudly declares Graig Monetti, deputy for sports and youth. With 18,000 spectators in six months, it must be said that “the smallest of the large venues” makes quite an impression. Indeed, its eclectic programming is sure to attract a wide audience. With artists like The Blaze, Myd, and Gad Elmaleh again, the season 2 lineup, unveiled on Thursday, September 7 in the presence of Christian Estrosi, promises to be promising.

Events Not to Be Missed

The Stockfish is launching a new event for this second semester, Les Mercredis du Tchoup. On Wednesdays, the venue focuses on humor with stand-up shows or open mic nights. It will be an opportunity to discover new talents as well as to see well-known comedians from the T’choup Comedy Club. To provide a platform for local artists, season 2 introduces “Thursdays at the Stockfish”.

Numerous theme nights with a festive and colorful atmosphere are planned, featuring big names from the Parisian nightlife scene, such as Nicolas Ullmann and the Cabaret du Stockfish with Mme Arthur.

Finally, internationally renowned DJs The Blaze, Mosimann, and Myd are invited for “carte blanche” sessions. They will have the opportunity to invite artists of their choice to join them on stage. Additionally, for electronic music enthusiasts, thereโ€™s the Dance To Resist event on Sunday nights, which will host big names from the techno music scene.

The Stockfish: A Social and Solidarity Project

The primary goal was to offer Nice’s students, emerging from the Covid-19 crisis, a place to enjoy and meet new people. In collaboration with the Maison รฉtudiante, the Stockfish offers a varied cultural lineup at reduced prices. Indeed, a flat rate of 5โ‚ฌ is offered to students. For this season, the highest ticket price is 25โ‚ฌ for the The Blaze concert. Finally, Stockfish donates its profits to various solidarity associations. According to Graig Monetti, “we are just at the beginning of the story!” Stay tuned…
