As part of the policy of integrating people with disabilities, the city of Nice is organizing five days of sports and recreational activities dedicated to people with disabilities, from Monday, May 23 to Friday, May 27.
This friendly and festive event, sponsored by Camille Muffat, World Champion, French Swimming Champion, and Yannick Agnel, World Champion, French Swimming Champion, aims to demonstrate that despite physical or mental differences, everyone has the ability to achieve performances, symbols of self-surpassing through effort.
It also allows people with mental, physical, or sensory disabilities to be valued through adapted sports practice, thereby experiencing the same sensations as able-bodied participants.
Various sports activities will be offered: climbing with the help of an adapted wall, horseback riding, sea outing, swimming, football, ping-pong, handball, judo, mountain biking, pรฉtanque, ice skating initiation, tandem cycling, gymnastics, running/wheelchair racing, goalball, sailing initiation, caving…
Stands from associations will present the activities and services they offer to people with disabilities.
