This Saturday, February 21, for the first-leg matches of the French Women’s Torball Championship First Division, the women’s team from ANICES will be in Mulhouse.
After winning the 1st International Women’s Tournament in Nice with flair, Emmaculada Barros, Sandrine Filippini, Audrey Bouchet, and Angรฉlique Leal will need to keep their cool and maintain a calm mindset to stay in this successful streak, driven by their coach Mickaรซl Maunier!
It’s worth noting the first participation in the Championship under ANICES colors for Audrey, who is strengthening an already well-established group.
Last year, the ANICES girls finished in 5th place; this year, the goal is to climb into the top four of the best teams in France.
To achieve this, the Poupoules will have to face the teams from Mulhouse, Clermont-Ferrand, Nantes, Yzeures, Lyon, AVH Paris, and Poitiers.
A great lineup in France that they will meet again in Poitiers on June 20 for the return matches.
The club chairman Filippini is already excited on the eve of the matches: โWe are counting on them to position themselves well during these first-leg matches to be in the running for the final โsprintโ in Poitiers.โ
Heads up, the Poupoules are on their way!
