Saturday, June 8, 2024, from 9 a.m. on Quai des États-Unis, Nice will celebrate the Tour de France. A day dedicated to the arrival of the famous cycling event in Nice.
Next July, the city of Nice will host the arrival of the 2024 Tour de France. For the very first time, the Tour de France’s finish will not occur in the Parisian region but instead on the Promenade des Anglais in Nice.
To promote this extraordinary sporting event, several actions are being implemented throughout the year leading up to the start of the competition. As part of this, the City of Nice is organizing the “Nice Fête le Tour”, on Saturday, June 8, 2024, starting at 9 a.m. on Quai des États-Unis.
This day entirely dedicated to the Tour de France will offer numerous free activities. There will be introductory workshops, freestyle demonstrations, discovery of cyclo mini-golf, bicycle marking stands, repair workshops, and much more.
Finally, a cyclosportive race will be organized at the end of the day. The program includes over 1,000 meters of positive elevation and 60 km of legendary roads to cover. A race traversed by the Tour de France riders during the Grand Finale in Nice in 2024. To participate in the race, you simply need to register beforehand on the website.
