Two stages to determine the winner of the 2026 Tour de France Femmes
Nice will host the finale of the 2026 Tour de France Femmes by Zwift, on Saturday, August 8 and Sunday, August 9. After the start in Lausanne on August 1st and a passage over Mont Ventoux today, the fifth edition of the race will end on the Côte d’Azur following two days that could be decisive for the general classification.
The first of these two stages will link Sisteron to Nice on Saturday, August 8. At 171.9 kilometers long, this eighth stage will be the longest of the 2026 Tour de France Femmes. The route will notably take the Napoleon Road before a finish on the Promenade des Anglais, at the level of the Théâtre de Verdure.
On Sunday, August 9, the final positions of the general classification will be decided during a loop of 99.2 kilometers around Nice. The start will be given from Place Masséna before a circuit comprising four ascents of the Col d’Èze, well known to riders of the Paris-Nice and the passage of the Vinaigrier. The finish will again be judged on the Promenade des Anglais, where the winner of this 2026 edition will be officially crowned.
At the start of this final stage, the Patrouille de France will perform a flyover in the azure skies.
A free Fan Zone at Jardin Albert 1er
Alongside the competition, the city of Nice will offer a Fan Zone at Jardin Albert 1er on Sunday, August 9, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Access will be free.
The public will be able to follow the race live thanks to four giant screens installed in front of the Théâtre de Verdure, inside the theater, at Place Masséna and at Square Yitzhak Rabin. Several activities will also be offered throughout the day with workshops dedicated to cycling practice, two learning courses, acrobatic demonstrations, shows, a continuous DJ set and prizes to win.
A catering area will also allow visitors to enjoy the day on site.
The official ceremony of the 2026 Tour de France Femmes will take place on the stage of the Théâtre de Verdure. The presentation of the various jerseys will conclude the race in the heart of Nice.
The finish line of the final two stages will be set up on the Promenade des Anglais, at the level of the Théâtre de Verdure. Throughout the weekend, the sector will become the central point of the event so as not to miss anything, with the riders’ arrival on Saturday and then the start and finish of the final stage on Sunday.
