As the summer transfer window comes to an end this evening, OGC Nice has announced the loan with an option to buy for their midfielder, Wylan Cyprien. The Nice player will play in Serie A with Parma Calcio 1913 for the next five seasons.
It’s official. After resuming training with determination following several months of absence due to an injury sustained in the French Cup against Olympique Lyonnais last February, Wylan Cyprien is leaving the Gym, as well as France and its championship, to head to Italy where he will play for Parma, currently 16th in the Serie A standings.
Despite the club having experienced many difficult periods, particularly in terms of results and statistics, they were relegated to the 4th division five years ago.
The 25-year-old French player, who was trained at Lens, joined the Eagles in 2016, during a memorable season for the Gym that ended on the podium (3rd behind PSG and AS Monaco), enabling them to reach the Champions League playoffs.
During his four seasons wearing the red and black jersey, Cyprien played 109 matches, scored 23 goals, and made 12 assists.
