The Municipal Council paid tribute to the memory of two public figures who have recently passed away.

The academician Jean d’Ormesson, who stayed in Nice during World War II and attended Lycée Masséna, will be remembered by naming a public space after him, to be determined.

As for the popular singer Johnny Hallyday, the Palais Nikaia will partially lose the historic prestige of its name to be associated with that of the rocker.
