Volleyball: Nice defeated by Ajaccio (1 – 3)

The Nice team started their match well, winning the first set logically. However, in a moderately filled hall, the Corsicans defiantly seized their opportunity afterward. Led by Alexandre Jioshvili, a former Nice player and husband of AS Cannes captain Victoria Ravva, Ajaccio targeted Mrozek with their serves in the following sets. Meanwhile, Nice gradually faded away. Uncertain receptions and a failing serve allowed the last-place team to triumph and earn valuable points for maintenance. Final score: 25-20, 19-25, 21-25, 22-25. NVB is now ranked 11th in the standings.
