From March 23, soul creators David Roger Piolle and Rémi Caraveo invited visitors to enter their workshop, located at the media library, for the duration of an exhibition. There, amidst warm ocher colors, they were drawn to these artists who bring to life, with their own hands, instruments with plucked or bowed strings.
“Luthiery is like a book that captivates you,” comments Rémi. And now, it is time to turn the page on the notes, created by the strings of Serge Ferrero and Serge Papa, and presented to school children. “Oh! The big guitar!” exclaims one schoolboy. “No, it’s a double bass,” replies his friend.
The notes continued to travel with auditions and a concert “that clears the mind.” “It’s very pleasant to listen to Bach! The harpsichord of Martine Raibaldi and the violin of Danuta Glowacka are in perfect harmony,” comments one spectator.
The audience was also dazzled when young Dan and Antoine made their bows dance on their violins.
What talent!
