This Wednesday, the eight novels selected to participate in the 24th Nice Baie des Anges literary prize were presented in the salons of the Massรฉna villa. The nominated works are:

KIOSK by JEAN ROUAUD from Grasset
REAL LIFE by ADELINE DIEUDONNร from LโIconoclaste
THE SPEECH by FABRICE CARO from Gallimard
THE AMBITIOUS BEAUTIES by STรPHANE HOFFMANN from Albin Michel
SOUL BROTHER by DAVID DIOP from Le Seuil.
The eight works were selected by the 2019 jury members, which is complemented by a popular jury of ten book-loving readers. Now comes for the authors the time of waiting, the moment of having their book consecrated by a literary prize.
The Nice Baie des Anges prize is associated with the Nice book festival that, this year, will be held from May 31 to June 2 for its 24th edition.
On Friday, May 17, in the salons of the Massรฉna villa in Nice, the winner of the Nice Baie des Anges Prize will be announced. This winner will follow in the footsteps of Jean Siccardi, the 2018 laureate.
