The ceremony of welcoming into French citizenship, in accordance with the law of July 24, 2006, gives a solemn dimension to the acquisition of French nationality, which, far from being just an administrative procedure, represents a significant life choice for its recipients.

This Friday, January 31, at the Prefectural Palace, Jean-Daniel Montet-Jourdran, Deputy Prefect, Deputy Secretary General in charge of the city’s social policy, will preside over the ceremony of welcoming into French citizenship.

This ceremony will concern 23 municipalities for the distribution of 115 booklets distributed as follows: Antibes, Beausoleil, Biot, Cagnes-sur-Mer, Cannes, Cap d’Ail, Drap, Grasse, Isola, Le Cannet, L’Escarène, Levens, Mandelieu La Napoule, Mougins, Nice, Saint Agnès, Saint-Jean Cap Ferrat, Saint-Laurent du Var, Saint-Vallier de Thiey, Vallauris, Vence, Villefranche, Villeneuve Loubet.

In the presence of mayors of the municipalities of residence of the new French citizens, parliamentarians as well as representatives of national orders.
