In 2018, the Alpes-Maritimes Department celebrated the twentieth anniversary of the creation of its Museum of Asian Arts.
2018 is also the year the museum welcomed its millionth visitor.
A symbol of open-mindedness and intellectual curiosity, the establishment is distinguished by remarkable architecture designed by Kenzo Tange and by the quality of its collection, which is unique in the south of France.
Over 20 years, the museum has successfully presented original exhibitions and events, in collaboration with major museums such as the Guimet Museum and the Museum of Decorative Arts, as well as with a community of enthusiasts that has formed around the project.
A new decade begins, and numerous projects are being prepared, always with the aim of exploring an Asian continent that continues to offer many surprises.
