This year, the population census will take place from January 19 to February 26. As every year, INSEE will conduct a random drawing. 8% of households in Nice will be affected.
A questionnaire will be sent to the home of each selected household. They will then receive a visit from a census officer equipped with an official card and bound by professional secrecy. It is the responsibility of the person being surveyed to fill out the documents provided by the census officer and return them. The census officer can assist in completing the questionnaires.
Let us remember that participation in the census is a civic duty. The responses remain strictly confidential; the information collected can only be used for statistical purposes and under the protection of anonymity. The National Commission for Information Technology and Civil Liberties (CNIL) will ensure the confidentiality of the data is respected.
