Following the rains of October 3rd to 4th, Mandelieu-la-Napoule and Nice have been recognized as victims of a natural disaster and will benefit from the compensation scheme. This was communicated by the prefecture after the publication of the decree in the Official Journal.
Furthermore, affected businesses will be able to obtain a deferral of their tax and social deadlines.
In a recent letter, Budget Minister Christian Eckert informed that “Businesses facing financial difficulties can request extensions of their tax and social payment deadlines from the competent public accountants.”
For once, Yvon Grosso will not be able to criticize the Government, quite the contrary: “We have been heard beyond what we were requesting, and I am pleased for the businesses affected by the bad weather, who must also face many other challenges.”
