This Thursday, April 13, the Cannes International Film Festival unveiled the complete list of films that will be screened at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès in 2023.
52 films will be presented at this 76th edition of the festival, which will take place from May 16 to May 27. Among them, 19 will compete for the Palme d’Or, and they are:

- The Zone of Interest by Jonathan Glazer
- Fallen Leaves by Aki Kaurismaki
- The Daughters of Olfa by Kaouther Ben Hania
- Asteroid City by Wes Anderson
- Anatomy of a Fall by Justine Triet
- Monster by Kore-Eda Hirokazu
- The Sun of the Future by Nanni Moretti
- Last Summer by Catherine Breillat
- About Dry Grasses by Nuri Bilge Ceylan
- La Chimera by Alice Rohrwacher
- The Passion of Dodin Bouffant by Tran Anh Hun
- Kidnapped by Marco Bellocchio
- May December by Todd Haynes
- Youth by Wang Bing
- The Old Oak by Ken Loach
- Banel & Adama by Ramata-Toulaye Sy
- Perfect Days by Wim Wenders
- Firebrand by Karim Aïnouz
Jean du Barry by Maïwenn featuring Johnny Depp as Louis XV, will open the Festival. Killers of the Flower Moon by Martin Scorsese with Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny by James Mangold, and Strange Way of Life by Pedro Almodóvar are among the most anticipated films.
