As part of the “Heart Godmothers” initiative launched by the LFB and the Sport Foundation, the players from Cavigal Nice visited the CAT-EPIS center in Cantaron.
They shared an entire morning of work with the disabled workers. Working alongside them at various job posts, the women from Nice were very active and adapted to the demands of the workplace.
All the disabled workers greatly appreciated this time of exchange and listening. The players then shared a meal with their new friends.
The Sport Foundation had traveled from Paris with Philippe Salles, Deputy General Delegate, accompanied by Aurรฉlia Pillet from the LFB, who was in charge of the project. Both were impressed by the commitment of the “Heart Godmothers” in this operation with the disabled workers.
They were supported by the association “Les Blouses Roses.”
The afternoon was dedicated to a recording at Nice TV where the captain Emillie Petiteau and Philippe Salles discussed the “Heart Godmothers” initiative.
President Louis Bacchialoni then met with the two Parisian representatives to discuss the future of this initiative, where Cavigal Nice is a pilot.
The workers from the CAT of Cantaron were present on Saturday, February 11, at the Leyrit hall to cheer on the Heart Godmothers of Nice against St Amand les Eaux, and will perform in the opening act during the Cavigal Nice – Mourenx match on March 25 next.
