Internet and Information Technology Conference in Nice

Latest News

The Internet and ICT Conference opened its doors yesterday with a large attendance made up of local government officials, elected representatives, and business leaders eager to stay up-to-date with the latest in computing, the internet, and ICTs.

Following an official opening led by Senator Mayor Jacques Peyrat and his deputy in charge of education, Agnès Rampal, the sixty exhibitors welcomed numerous visitors to their stands.

Municipalities, General Councils, and communities gathered in this market, which is primarily aimed at them, with many services such as online administration, high-speed connectivity, and open-source software, which are beginning to take an important place in today’s IT world.

Nice Première welcomed many notable figures at its stand and will soon offer a video of the day as well as a complete photo gallery of the event. Also, come and find out about our partner Bugbusters who offers a national exclusive: an unlimited IT support contract.

To conclude this wonderful day, Gilles de Robien, the Minister of Education, will address the theme of the digital divide, which the government is working to reduce and, hopefully, one day see disappear.

But the Internet Conference is far from over, and all the exhibitors and participants are meeting again today for the second and final day of the 2006 edition of a trade show that has become a must-attend on the French Riviera.
