Nice West highlighted in an exhibition

Latest News

Among the key pieces of this historical reconstruction from the Middle Ages to the 20th century, there is the oldest parchment preserved in the Municipal Archives, dating back to the 12th century. At that time, the entire city was located on the distant hill of the castle.
A more recent aerial view (1988) shows the role of human labor in the current topography of the Var Plain.

From Yesterday to Today

The city’s expansion to the West is now more relevant than ever given the numerous ongoing projects in the Var Plain. An exhibition on this theme thus appeared as an interesting link between the past and the future: the history of the Western neighborhoods can be paralleled with the current development of this territory, especially since the panels regarding the urban renewal project of Les Moulins are also displayed at the annex of the Town Hall.

Involvement of ZEP Students

An activity related to this exhibition is offered to students from the CM2 and 6th-grade classes of the district, in collaboration with the ZEP of Saint-Augustin, the Alain Lefeuvre Library, and the Municipal Archives Service. The classes will be welcomed starting Thursday, October 9, once a week.
