To better acquaint French men and women with the men and women who have chosen to dedicate their lives to serving their safety: this is the ambition of these first Interior Security Days, taking place simultaneously across the entire territory.
“These Interior Security Days highlight an evolution that I have wanted and am leading tirelessly: the modernization of resources and cooperation between services, whether in public safety or civil security,” declared the Minister of the Interior, Michèlle Alliot-Marie.
In the Alpes Maritimes department, the 1,946 police officers and 4,710 personnel from the departmental fire and rescue service will be represented at the Jardin Albert 1er from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Program
12:00 p.m.: Inauguration of the event and visit to the various stands, with a sea rescue demonstration by the SDIS.
12:15 p.m.: GIPN demonstration, hostage release in a bus.
12:30 p.m.: Canine presentation with the gendarmerie neutralizing a criminal.
12:40 p.m.: Demonstration by the police canine brigades and national police mountain biking units.
*Permanent workshops and activities:*
• DDPAF: animation on document fraud and a demonstration by the canine brigade on explosive detection.
• CCPD: international police cooperation with the participation of an Italian carabiniere.
• DDE: road safety with crash testing, the reflexometer, the alcohol goggles, alcohol software, and motorcycle simulator.
• SDIS: urban and sanitary equipment presentation.
• CRS 06: public order and mountain rescue.
• DDJS: information on first aid.
• PJ: a tent for new technologies and cyber crime, three tents for criminal identification around a crime scene in association with the gendarmerie and DDSP.
• EOD service: presentation of static equipment.
• DDSP: presentation of new investigation equipment, public order in association with the gendarmerie, road safety, training and recruitment, tramway model presentation and safety in the tramway with the Nice municipal police.
• Gendarmerie: recruitment and reserve, nautical brigade, equestrian patrol.
