The Nuits du Sud Festival is preparing the 3rd edition of the “Talents Nuits du Sud” to highlight the best of emerging musical creation.
For connoisseurs, the Nuits du Sud is a way to discover music off the beaten path, coming from the four corners of the world as well as groups that will soon be headlining.
The Nuits du Sud Festival, which will take place from July 8 to August 7, 2010, in Vence on the Place du Grand Jardin, develops this spirit by offering its stage to young creation.
The “Talents Nuits du Sud” aims to distinguish and support music groups of quality, original in their artistic pursuit, who are at a crucial point in their careers and need professional recognition to build their project.
Last year, more than 200 applications were received; 10 were selected to participate in the contest. Haute Couture received the public award, and Tram des Balkans received the jury award.
20 groups will be chosen as of February 15, 2010. The selection of the 10 participating groups will be made in April 2010.
