Debate Meeting: “Where Are Women’s Rights in Italy?”

On the occasion of March 8, International Women’s Rights Day, Les Alternatifs, La F.A.S.E., Ni.C.E.A., and Le N.P.A. are organizing a snack discussion following the feminist mobilizations of February 13, 2011, to denounce the image of women presented by Berlusconi and the politics of his government, and to examine the current state of women’s rights in Italy.

The debate will be introduced by Magali Della Sudda, a postdoctoral researcher at the European University Institute in Florence. Magali Della Sudda focuses particularly on the issue of women’s mobilizations in the 20th century.
