This 3rd edition of Nice-Cannes, on November 14th, served as the platform for the French marathon championship where ASPTT Nice shone by winning the title of French Champion by team in veteran 1 and the title of Vice-Champion of France by team in the overall standings.
Frรฉdรฉric Desplanques, Jean-Bernard Grondin, and Jean-Luc Rosalie covered 42.195 km in 2h28, 2h33, and 2h37 respectively, allowing them to win the titles of French team champion in veteran 1 and vice champion of France by team in all categories.
But the accolades are far from over as Frรฉdรฉric Desplanques claimed the title of individual veteran vice-champion of France and the regional champion title.
