The Veterans Residence wished to innovate by organizing an afternoon of sports for its festival, with games adapted for seniors.
The “Senior Olympics” festival is organized to provide our elders with a convivial half-day to strengthen ties between the structures of the Nice Communal Center for Social Action, allow residents to exchange, and represent their establishment for the Olympics.

Residents of the Care Homes for Dependent Elderly Persons managed by the CCAS are invited to participate in sports and cultural challenges adapted for people with reduced mobility: agility and skill games, general knowledge questions, as well as console games on the WII like bowling.
Three CCAS residences will compete: Veterans, Grosso, and Saint Augustin.
The specialized staff responsible for supervising the residents (animators, psychologists, physical reconditioning teachers) will be supported by young volunteers from Uniscitรฉs Mรฉditerranรฉe completing their civic service within the residence.
A trophy presentation and a convivial snack will conclude the day.
