In the presence of Mr. Eric Ciotti, President of the General Council of Alpes-Maritimes, and Jean-Paul David, Mayor of Guillaumes, President of the Rural Mayors Association
On this occasion, 3 key events:
• A round table on the topic of health in rural areas. The elected officials present and the numerous health professionals will discuss projects to promote access to health care in rural areas.
• Signing of the “PRESENCE” agreement between ERDF and the Rural Mayors Association to develop a local partnership, particularly in handling incidents on the electrical network, providing information on municipal works, and protecting birdlife. Additionally, this agreement encourages rural municipalities to adhere to the Ecowatt Provence Azur charter. It will be rolled out in each rural municipality starting in September.
• Signing of a partnership agreement aimed at enhancing the quality of the telephone network in the Alpes-Maritimes department, between the General Council and France Télécom Orange. This partnership initiative, proposed to local elected officials, will help improve the quality of network services. It will allow local authorities to report visual issues found on the network (such as broken poles, torn telephone cables, etc.).
